 Why is a New Jersey Master Plumbing License Important ?

Properly installed & serviced plumbing is vital to both your health and safety. Improperly installed or maintained plumbing can cause health issues including virus, disease and death.

 In Example:

  •  A faulty installation of a water softener can create a dangerous cross connection between your sewer and drinking water;
  • A faulty installed water heater can explode or allow carbon monoxide to enter your home.

Plumbing Services in the State New Jersey must be performed by a NJ Licensed Master Plumber. Plumbing shall be performed by a master plumber, an authorized plumbing contractor, or by employees working under the supervision of a master plumber as permitted by N.J.S.A. 45:14C-1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 13:32-3.3. Anyone found violating this law is subject to both jail sentence and fines.
