Home Improvement Contractor Guilty
On Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Joe Dobbins of Blackwood, NJ entered into a plea agreement with Pitman Municipal Prosecutor Tim Chell to plead guilty for advertising plumbing in the Courier Post newspaper without a Master Plumbing License.
The Honorable Judge Powell accepted Mr. Dobbin’s plea of guilty and issued a $ 300.00 fine and the normal court costs and fees. A Plumbing Restraining order was also issued.
Had a plea not been taken Mr. Dobbins could have received up to a $2500.00 fine and 6 months in jail. (the maximum punishment)
